A few things on my calendar this month …
Boston Local Food Festival – October seems to be festival month in Boston. One of may favorites is this local food festival on the Greenway.
Boston Local Brew Fest – Usually held at the same time as the Food Fest, this fun local beer tasting was moved to the following week. Cool, we can do both!
Glassblowing Class – My sister signed us up for a fun class this month. I just mastered being able to light matches so I’m not sure how freaked out I’ll be if we get anywhere near that red glowy glass.
Boston Book Festival – Lots of great authors in town for this year’s Book Festival.
Boston Film Festival – This film festival is a little more mainstream than the ones I usually attend. But since they moved it to a much more convenient weekend in October, I’m going to check out a few films.
Fort Point Open Studios – My favorite open studios in the city. Super designer-y in Fort Point Channel.
Donna Tartt -- She’s coming to Cambridge. I saw her a decade ago when she wrote her second book. One book every ten years makes this a must-attend author reading.
Head of the Charles – You know, I’m not sure I actually enjoy going to this super crowded event but it wouldn’t really be fall in Boston without it.
East Cambridge Ribfest – We loved this event last year and are hoping for an equally awesome time again in a few weeks!
